Dustin is clearly one of
the most talented riders in FMX. The NV rider has a stunning
assortment of technical tricks and combos and is the only
rider whose run has beaten flippers in a U.S. Freestyle comp,
doing so at WFA NYC in July.
Before freestyle, motocross was Dustin Miller’s passion
as he chased the dream of becoming a factory rider. He even
qualified for some professional motocross nationals, but
he soon shifted his focus to freestyle, which he hit head-on.
Since his induction into freestyle, Dustin has become one
of the most successful riders the sport has seen. From the
Vans Triple Crown to the X Games, Dustin has done it all.
He currently has 36 IFMA wins, a 2001 IFMA Championship,
and a silver medal in the 2001 X Games Big Air competition,
among others.
But even with his impressive resume, Dustin feels last year
was one of his best to date. “I think 2005 has been
my most successful year, as far as the variety of events
I have done well at,” he says. “I got a bronze
medal at Winter X Games, won the Ride to the Hills event,
third place at LG action sports championships, and recently
won the RIOT natural-terrain contest put on by MXI out in
Caineville, Utah.” |
